Cosmetic Clays have a very high mineral content. They are cleansing to the skin, improve circulation to the area, pull impurities out of the skin, normalize oily skin and improve lymphatic flow eliminating toxins from the body. Clay blends well with essential oils and together they have a synergistic, therapeutic effect on skin. Good additives to a clay facial are rose petals powder, Lemon peel powder and or orange peel powder for astringency, milk powder for moisturizing, cornmeal for exfoliation. Good wetting agents are yogurt to cool the skin, rose water or witch hazel for astringency, fruit puree such as strawberry for alpha hydroxy type action, cucumber puree to soothe or various hydrosols or teas. A few drops of jojoba will leave a light moisturizing feel on the skin. Have fun playing~!
These three clays are the best on the market today. You will not find a better product anywhere. Read the testimony from a satisfied customer who called me at home at 7 am and left this message on my machine.
"Hello this is Suzanne, I am sorry to call so early but I could not wait to tell you that I used the facial clays last night and this stuff is just wonderful! I just can not get over how great my skin looks and feels. Thank you so much!"
Naturally I called her back as soon as I could and here is the rest of her story- "I have been needing to get to the salon for a facial for awhile and have not been able to fit it into my schedule...well let me tell you I wont be going to the salon for my facials any longer. I can not believe how good my skin feels, this stuff is wonderful. I mixed it just like you said and wow the results are great. I even put some on my husbands nose, you know men he didn't like the way that it felt as it was drying so he went to shower and when he came out he said, Man that stuff worked great, look at my nose! Thank you Paige for showing me this wonderful product, I have never had a facial that left my skin as smooth as this, I will be telling everyone about it." Suzanne
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
What I use personally:
Occasionally I host a girls pampering party at my house. The last one was held during the summer. We gathered up all of our facial goodies and headed to the lake. We took turns slathering clay on from head to toe, a full body mask. We used the Rose Clay on our faces and any areas of dry skin, elbows knees & hands, then used the Green Sea Clay on our upper arms, chest and thighs. Imagine the looks from our kids! We did look like Pink and Green sea monsters. Fortunately this is private area on the lake and only a couple of visitors were there besides us, I wonder if they will be back? <G> We laid on lawn chairs until the clays dried and then jumped into the water to rinse it off. What a wonderful treat to have a head to toe clay mask! Our skin felt totally renewed!
Oh and Yes, we were wearing swim suits!
