Grapefruit
(Pink)
(Citrus x paradisi) /CP/Texas/Peel
GRAPEFRUIT -- This refreshing and delightful pure essential
oil comes from the peel of the grapefruit. It's sweet and tangy aroma
is said to help combat nervous exhaustion, anxiety and stress.
Grapefruit is a wonderful pure essential oil to use in a diffuser. Grapefruit
helps to create a general sense of well being in all those who inhale
it's sweet, citrus aroma. This fresh and cheery pure essential oil is
said to uplift the spirits and refresh the mind and body! Grapefruit should
be included in every aromatherapy kit!
It is said that grapefruit pure essential oil is beneficial in helping
to eliminate toxins from the body. For this reason, grapefruit can be
a nice addition to an after-sports massage blend to aid in reducing muscle
soreness.
It is important to remember that pure essential oils from the citrus
family (grapefruit, lemon, orange, tangerine, bergamot, etc.) can irritate
the skin when applied topically. Citrus oils increase one's sensitivity
to sunlight and sunburn. Never apply pure essential oils to the skin undiluted.
